Tyre moulds are an important tool used in the tyre production process (the curing process). The tyre moulds have a number of treads (corresponding to the pattern of the tyre) which, over a long period of time, produce many deposits such as sulphide, inorganic substances, silicone oil, carbon black, etc. Therefore, they need to be cleaned regularly to ensure the cleanliness of their surface. Moreover, laser cleaning is non-contact cleaning and no solvents or substances are added during the cleaning process, so that no damage is caused to the mould under the right process parameters (optical parameters of the laser). Compared to traditional mechanical and chemical cleaning methods, it is more reliable.
